Robert Grigsby Wilson’s work is comprised of many festival favorites and viral videos. Prior to The American Side, he recently edited Dig, a short film directed by Toby Halbrooks that played at both the 2014 Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals. Other narrative projects include Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, The Onion News Empire, In Lieu of Flowers, and Cruel Summer, a seven-screen music film directed by Kanye West that screened for audiences at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and hasn’t been seen since.

His short-form projects includes work for Miranda July, commercials for Psyop, music videos for Twenty One Pilots, Yeasayer, and Iron & Wine, and the internet documentary project Everything Is A Remix by Kirby Ferguson. These videos have been featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, Buzzfeed, Time.com, Boing Boing, and Short Of The Week, as well as many other sites. His music video for Twenty-One Pilots also earned the band a MTV Video Music Award Nomination for Best New Artist. Rob has also had the privilege to assist under many esteemed editors such as Kevin Tent, Craig McKay, Robert Komatsu, Kelley Dixon, Alan Heim, and Pam Wise.

Currently Rob is in New York but he has a tendency to find himself in Los Angeles or Boston. He would like to thank Jenna and the entire TAS team for making the journey an incredible one.
